Our Volunteer Network

Our volunteers are at the heart of Meals on Wheels. Without them, our service simply wouldn’t exist.

More than just volunteering

Our volunteers do so much more than deliver meals. They make a real difference in the lives of people in their community—offering their time, kindness, a sense of humour and a genuine spirit of giving.

Many of our volunteers say they get just as much out of the experience as they give. Volunteering can bring a strong sense of purpose, the chance to meet new people, build friendships and connect with the community. It’s also a great way to gain new skills, broaden your experience and be part of something meaningful.

Volunteers can take on roles as drivers or deliverers, and always complete deliveries in pairs. Company vehicles are provided.
